About Us

Operation Therapy is a 501(c)(3) Tax Deductible Charitable Organization located in the Foothills of The Great Smoky Mountains here in East Tennessee. Our mission is to give safe refuge for animals (Domestic/Farm) and help Military Veterans by offering team building and mentorship. Animals living here at Heritage Holler play a huge role for our Veterans associated with Operation Therapy. The Animal Sanctuary gives positive energy and most importantly PURPOSE to our Military Veterans and their families. Here at Operation Therapy Veterans will find PURPOSE through caring for animals, gardening, beekeeping, wood shop, forestry conservation, and much more. At Operation Therapy we have a team of experts in many professional fields teaching/mentoring our Military Veterans. We strive to help Veterans build a foundation for success by finding the PURPOSE.

The operating cost here at Operation Therapy is growing and we need your help. We are a 501(c)(3) tax deductible charity organization needing your help to attain our goals here at Heritage Holler. The list of projects consist of a barn, small cabins, several outbuildings, fencing and much more here at Heritage Holler. As you know it takes a TEAM of Volunteers and Donors to attain these goals. That is where you come in, we ask that you sign up to volunteer with Operation Therapy at the ole’Homestead and/or events we host in the community. Volunteers are crucial, but so are Donors.
